Our central treatment area is the “hub” of our hospital. In the same way a house is designed around the kitchen, our hospital is centred on the treatment area.
All our inpatients are assessed or triaged in this room. We have emergency and lifesaving equipment on hand and we can access all our medical and surgical services.
If your pet requires an anaesthetic it will be assessed, blood tested and anaesthetised here, then prepped prior to entering our surgical suite. Post anaesthetic we have recovery cages to ensure safe and monitored recovery.
We have a reticulated oxygen supply which drops from the ceiling with an active gas scavenge system to help ensure the safety of our staff.
