Routine veterinary procedures continue
Our guidelines from the NZVA and Vet Council New Zealand allow us to perform procedures and treatments that are essential and/or that we can do SAFELY.
We will be implementing our distancing protocols and unfortunately, this means that we cannot have clients in the clinic. Please follow the directions of our staff at all times. If you have appointments booked then we will still be able to see your pet and ensure that it receives the care it needs.
Coming to the clinic
For all pet visits you must make an appointment. We will also require you to contact us from your car when you arrive on our regular clinic number 09 537 0111. Once we know you’re here we will confirm how we will admit your pet and do a handover.
‘Email and Collect’ via firstname.lastname@example.org is still required for any prescription refills and pet food or over the counter products like flea control and we need at least 24 hours notice to get your prescriptions ready.

Some more important things to remember
Please do not come to the clinic if you are unwell, have any respiratory symptoms or have been required to self isolate for any reason. Please do not be offended if our staff remind you when you call to make an appointment.
We accept direct credit payments in advance and credit cards over the phone for services at the time. Products and medications can be paid in advance but please complete these payments 24 hours prior to collection so we can verify the transaction, or provide proof of payment. We will continue to use contact-less consents for admissions and anaesthesia. Please follow the directions of our staff if your pet will be staying with us. If you cannot or would rather not visit us then we still have telemedicine consultations available. Unfortunately, we cannot do house-calls.
We will be able to use our practice management software and e-appointment book to trace all clients. To do this successfully we will have no ‘cash’ sales and all transactions will be linked to your client accounts and you can use the Government Covid App.
